Premier Computer Canada is concerned about protecting the rights and privileges of Internet use. As such, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Any information collected by Premier Computer Canada on our website and in-store will be treated with the highest regard for security and privacy.
What Information Does Premier Computer Canada Collect?
When you order from our site, we must collect the purchaser’s name, email address, payment information (i.e. credit card), mailing address and phone number. We do this to allow the processing and fulfillment of orders and to provide order tracking and customer service support. It is also done to protect you from someone else placing order’s either under your name or un-authorized use of your credit card. Premier Computer Canada may use this information to send the purchase receipt. We may also provide information on order status.
How do we protect the purchase information?
Premier Computer Canada protects the individuals’ personal and credit card information through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The logic included in SSL encrypts the data being sent via the internet from the purchaser’s browser to our transaction servers and back. This high level encryption technology is widely accepted as a standard for online security of sensitive information. This methodology prevents the consumers’ credit information from being viewed in plain text. Once the transaction is complete, ALL credit card information is permanently removed from the server.
What are "cookies"?
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. The information in a cookie is used by Premier Computer Canada to identify a shopper for the purposes of increasing shopping convenience within a site but not to track the traits or preferences of the shopper for future sales.
